Well done to Toton Tigers Orange U11’s at the Calverton MW tournament on Saturday 15th May.
Tigers won their group of 5 very strong teams in this annual six a side competition by beating Ilkeston Town Juniors Black 2-0, Bridge Colts from Newark 2-0 and Calverton Colts Blue 2-0, losing narrowly 1-0 to Long Eaton Blue in the other group game despite dominating the majority of the possession.
Three goals a piece from forwards Mac Allison and Will Barker secured the top spot, with Tigers playing some fantastic football which was very pleasing on the eye. There was a solid performance in the centre of midfield from Owen Irons with fine defensive displays from George Barker, Will Price, Joe Dane and Matt Fisher in goal.
In the semi-final they were pitted against a very strong Long Eaton Yellow side, who narrowly edged it 2-1, with another goal from Will Barker
A great team performance from the seven players involved today well done all!!!

Ravenshead 1 Tigers 1(Mac)
Ravenshead kicked off in the frst of the mid-week catch-up games for the boys, and were soon pressing hard on the Toton defence. The boys held firm, and the ball was soon fed out to Owen for a run down the centre, followed by further drives down the left and right wings.
